Melissa is my husband's ex wife and she is in a rough place right now. Her husband, Ross, has stage 4 pancreatic cancer. He has been accepted to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, but things are not looking good. She, understandably, is uncomfortable leaving his side during this time and is only able to work 2 days a week. This is not condusive to keeping up household bills, let alone trips to Minnesota. They are trying Ross on an experimental medication, but the outlook is still not good.
