Melissa and Kirk Family

Melissa noticed swelling on the right side of her neck in August. Which then started to get worse, and she started experiencing pain in her neck, shortness of breath and heaviness in the chest area. After several MD appointments in August, September and October, and three biopsies, she was finally diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma Stage 2 in mid-October. It has sometimes been a bit overwhelming for her to deal with symptoms. She just started treatment of chemotherapy on 10-25-2022. Chemo will be every two weeks for the next six months.

Her husband Matt and their kid's Grace (15), Garrett (13) and Grady (11) have been excellent in helping out mom. Also, family and friends help out with chores, meals and rides. The Kirk family is greatly appreciative.
