Melissa (Able)Matthews

Hi my name is Debbie. I'm trying to raise money for my niece Melissa's cremation.

Melissa was born December 28, 1983 to parents Joe Matthews and Marion Hunter. She is the youngest daughter. Frank and Nicole are her siblings. Melissa was a mom and a friend to many Anyone who knows Melissa, knows what a hardworking person she was. She was also the first one to offer help to anyone who needed it. From the time she was little, she was our wild child, high spirited and always jovial.

Sometimes when you are social and hardworking, you look to escape from the everyday struggles that can keep you down. She was exposed to substances that can lead someone to a path of isolation and pain. This affected her work and he life in a way that most people can't dream of.

Melissa passed away on January 22, 2025 after a long struggle with substance abuse. She leaves her parents, siblings, children, family and friends struggling with loss of her!

We are asking for help to arrange a cremation and celebration of life for Melissa. Any amount will be appreciated. The opiate crisis is huge problem that has touched too many lives.
