Dear Reader,

We are starting this campaign to help Melisa in her time of need. If you are able to donate or know someone who would be able to contribute, we ask that you share this so that we may reach our goal. Melisa is experiencing a financial strain due to a multitude of sudden life threatening events that are all happening at the same time.  

A few days ago, Melisa suffered her 4th and most severe stroke. She has been struggling with random clot events over the past 3 years, with there being 6 in total. Melisa has had a challenging 29 years due to complications associated with her Lupus diagnosis. Anyone who knows Melisa, knows that she doesn’t let it be known when she is struggling. She continues to be the high spirited, busy body Registered Nurse that she is. This time, however, her condition is taking a toll to the extent that she reached out to her village.

Melisa will have to continue to be out of work for several weeks in order to go an acute care rehab facility. The goal is to regain functionality of her arms and legs, which have been affected by the stroke. She is in bed rest for the time being.

Melisa remains in good spirits, as she continues to fight to improve in her condition. She is currently still in patient but will be transferring to the rehab facility within the next week.
