Melisa Walking Without Pain

Donation protected
In June of 2015, Melisa (my wife) broke her ankle in 3 places at the age of 23. Since then the recovery has been rocky at best. She had an original surgeon who didn't set her ankle right and 3 months later after getting a new surgeon had to get her ankle broken again so that it would be placed correctly. After those two surgeries, she's had two more in order to make adjustments and remove scar tissue.

Currently, she is in constant pain. This pain is agitated and increases anytime she has to walk or stand for more than 20 minutes. She's too young for a total ankle replacement and we're expending all our options before we have to fuse the ankle. After the pain was too much, we asked the doctor about amputation and in an effort to save her ankle he recommended a special brace that people turn too when considering amputation.

This brace would allow Melisa to do a lot of things she hasn't been able to for five years. She'd be able to walk, jump, run, and hike without pain. Now that we have a baby, it makes her very sad that she can't do those things with him because of her body. This brace is a game changer and would impact our lives in ways you can't even imagine.

We need to have the funds by 5/28/2020. Please donate if you can. Even $10 or $20 will go a long way. If you cannot donate, please share this on social media.
