Melinda Nevins was on her way home from school when she was involved in a tragic accident on February 11th, 2021 in Shelby County, IN. She was transported by helicopter from the scene and is currently in the hospital in a medical induced coma, with severe injuries to her head, and is on a ventilator. 
We are asking for donations for not only Melinda's medical expenses, but for her family as well. Melinda is engaged to a dedicated deputy of the Shelby County Sheriff Department, and they share a beautiful one year old daughter together. 
They are a very sweet, hard-working, and loving family and could use help from their community. Please respect the family's privacy while they cope with this tragedy.
