Melinda Irene Soto Garcia

Melinda lived a life full of love & laughter. She was always surrounded by those she loved the most and never once missed a chance to brag about how much she loved her babies! She was always so proud of them. Being a wife to AD and a mom to her four babies made her the happiest; they all brought her so much joy. Melinda loved in a way that not many people do anymore. She was genuine with her affection and would give her last to change someone’s day and make them smile. She carried a joy with her that was contagious and made you want to be around her.

Melinda was well known for being a hard worker who absolutely loved her career as a Correctional Officer. The fellowship and work family she gained throughout those 10 years was something she was extremely passionate about.

On Sunday, March 30th, we lost her suddenly, at the young age of 46. Although we are thankful for the years we had with her and the memories we share and will hold close forever, her presence will be deeply missed.

Her sudden passing leaves her family and friends stunned and heartbroken, still trying to process her not being here.

The intent of this GoFundMe is to help her husband and children give her the farewell she deserves.

As you consider giving, please also keep her immediate family in your prayers. Her babies are navigating life without their mom, and her husband is now facing a life without the love of his life.
