In September my beautiful aunt Melinda was a pedestrian in a hit and run accident in Newport Beach California. She has since remained in the hospital in critical condition and unfortunately sustained extreme injuries and trauma. Mindy has endured 5 surgeries, continuous MRIs and CT scans to monitor her progress. She has a broken knee, pelvis, elbow, ankle, back and ribs. A lacerated liver, a punctured lung and internal bleeding that has been stopped thankfully. Two brain bleeds that are stable now and they have her sedated. She has yet to wake up fully but she’s showing signs of improvement and understanding as she responds little by little to family. We are asking for prayers first and foremost but also if anyone is able and willing to help we are looking to help her with medical and living expenses until she can get out of the hospital.
