Help Support Melinda's Cancer Care

Hello!! I am creating this to help a dear friend pay for her Breast Cancer treatments. Melinda has no idea I've created this, and if she did she'd probably tell me to take it down immediately because there's no way she could accept it. She is one of the most incredible women I have been blessed to have in my life, and is the last person on earth who deserves to go through this. She dedicates her time putting others first, and working with kids on the Autism spectrum.

She had a feeling something wasn't quite right and because she never stopped advocating for herself they were able to start treatment quickly. I can't imagine being in her shoes, and I know that money is only a small portion of the real support she needs. Anything is better than nothing, and every tiny amount adds up!

Here is what she posted on 10/20/23:

Today, I had my second round of chemotherapy. Chemotherapy because I have stage 3 invasive breast cancer. The past two months have been a whirlwind, to say the least. Never did I think this would be part of my story, but here we are. I still haven't completely processed my current reality, but I can say that, barring some moments here and there, I am doing ok. From the first moment I was thrown into this world on August 10, I didn't know how I was going to make it through, but here I am, still trucking, still laughing, still fighting.

I am so thankful for my support system - I have never felt as cared for or surrounded by love than I have in the past few weeks. Thank you to everyone who has given kind words and sent care and prayers. I am so appreciative.

It feels weird to suddenly be posting again after being MIA so long, but I've found so much comfort in connecting with other's stories, I feel like it would be selfish to keep this silent.
