Melinda Graczyk Legacy fund

We are installing a bench at Ashcroft Community Gardens under Mel's newly planted tree. It will be a memorial bench with Mel's name and favorite saying "Stay Curious". The funds collected will pay for the bench and plaque. Any additional funds collected will be used to help launch the "Melinda Graczyk Stay Curious" legacy scholarship to help promote Diversity, Equity and Inclusion within the Michigan Jaycees. For those of you that don't know. DEI was something Mel was passionate about. Mel was an original member and Chair of Redford Townships' very first DEI commission. There was so much they wanted to accomplish with this commission. Knowing their passion to help under-represented communities working with Mel on the commission, it is Sarah Goad's idea to start the scholarship to support these individuals through the Michigan Jaycees.
