HELP Melinda Franklin, Please!

Hi, my name is Jon Franklin; I am a brother of Melinda's. I am asking everyone who can to please help Melinda during her long, six months to a year recovery from surgery from Stage 4, Secondary Breast Cancer of the Liver. Your gift will help her financially through this long and challenging time when she cannot work.

Melinda will undergo surgery on Tuesday, September 13th, to remove two large progressive cancerous tumors from her liver's underside. Unfortunately, she has Stage 4 Metastatic Adenocycstic Breast Cancer of the Liver, which is extremely rare. Only 1 percent World Wide get this type of Cancer, and it can not be treated by Chemotherapy or Radiation; therefore, surgery is her best option. Unfortunately, doctors have said this invasive surgery will require six months to a year to recover, making it difficult to get around and impossible to take the English teaching position in High School; she was excited and looking forward to it.

My sister has already had an appendectomy and kidney removal. Then in 2015, doctors discovered she had breast cancer, which they later removed, followed by a double radical mastectomy which was a long and financially draining recovery. Recently during a check-up, doctors discovered the breast cancer surgery wasn't entirely successful, and cancer had spread to her Liver, resulting in State 4, Secondary Breast Cancer of the Liver, which is different than cancer that starts in the liver; it can be worse.

I created this GoFundMe page for Melinda Franklin, my sister because I know what a financial strain recovering from cancer can be. Unfortunately, the bills don't stop coming when someone cannot work while recovering, and financial stress can make recovery far worse. So PLEASE, I ask you to send any gifts you can. They will help Melinda support her two teenage children, pay household and medical bills, put food on the table, pay the mortgage, and help their three dogs.
