Help Melia Miller Represent Canada at the ISA SUP World Championships!

My name is Melia Miller, and I’m an 18-year-old stand-up paddleboard athlete from Squamish, British Columbia, which is one of the most beautiful training grounds in the world. This fall, I’ve qualified and been selected to represent Canada at the ISA Stand Up Paddleboard World Championships in El Salvador. It’s a dream come true to have the opportunity to compete for my country and alongside amazing athletes from all over.

I’ve spent my life on the water. Surfing has been my passion since I caught my first wave. I spent a brief year paddling as an elite athlete in California, before moving to Squamish. I then spent years following my drive to compete by running track and cross country. Over the summer, I competed in a race that qualified the Canadian SUP team, and I had it in me to make it.

Now, I have the incredible opportunity to compete for my country. It's my first international race, but I need my communities help to get there.

What Your Support Covers

Competing at Worlds is a huge honour, but athletes like me fund most of our own travel and race expenses.

✈️ Flight to El Salvador: $1,000 CAD

⚙️ Equipment & board transport: $1000 CAD

In total, I need $3,100 to make this journey possible.

Our Team Canada as a whole is also raising money to help all of our athletes cover the same essential costs — flights, race fees, and equipment — so every Canadian paddler can stand on the start line proudly representing our country.
