Meli is a 10 month old Torbi filled with love and happiness. Her favorite things in the world are cuddles, and talking about her day. Today, after going to the vet every week for the last four weeks, she was diagnosed with FIP. We’re fundraising to help with the cost of her treatment for a disease that would otherwise take her life.
Time is of the essence as right now she is severely anemic, has enlarged kidneys, fluid in her abdomen, and is losing weight at only 4.8 lbs.
Anything helps and our little family of four thanks you.
FIP is, for lack of a better way of putting it, a disease that can cause a multitude of issues for a cat, ranging from seizures to fluid leaking from their blood into their chest/abdomen, anemia, and in the end, death. It’s fatal untreated and treatments are expensive and difficult unfortunately due to not being approved by the FDA.
