My best friend of 25 years, Meleasa, my soul-sister & curlie-sister and closest to my heart, is bravely  fighting stage-3 Breast Cancer & going through ChemoTherapy every 2-weeks.  Her will to win this battle is fueled by love of her 4.5 year old son Ethan,  and care of her family & friends.  I hope that you too will help & support Meleasa on this arduous journey.

While she is blessed to have insurance, it won't be nearly enough for the road ahead, and the astronimical medical costs that her husband is trying to cover on a single-income.  Additionally there are everyday things that can enhance Meleasa's quality of life, such as childcare for Ethan, housecleaning services, organic meals & vitamins, wigs - items that insurance wont cover but makes her life better, so she can better focus on beating cancer.
