Melba Morales widow of Angel Morales

Hello, My name is Lissette. I started this account to help my mom with the financial burden she is facing after the tragic and sudden death of her beloved husband of over 28 years.

On Thursday, March 31st, For my mother Melba Morales and her husband Angel Morales the morning began like every other. She dropped him at work where he would get on his delivery truck and go about his work day. This day however changed our lives forever. Never did she imagine she would never see him again. Around 1 pm, we received a call informing us Angel had been in a fatal car accident while on his work truck.

Angel’s work truck was struck by an unmarked police cruiser causing his dealth

The accident remains under investigation. Our family is struggling with this loss. To say my mother is distraught is an understatement but, we now worry about how this tragedy will also affect her livelihood .

My mom and Angel already struggled to make ends meet. Despite being able to retire based on their age they still had to work because they couldn't afford not to.

The cost of inflation has made it very difficult for them support themselves. Now, all of a sudden she is left to sustain it all by herself. No amount of money will ease her pain, but it would allow her to grieve without having to stress where she will live and how her financial needs would be met.
