Melanoma Battle: We Need Your Support

I am struggling with an unusually aggressive metastatic melanoma. I caught it early, however the surgeon repeatedly stalled on scheduling the surgery. When she finally did, she called the night before, cancelling the surgery. I gave up and found another surgeon

By that time, the tumor had grown and had started to spread. I underwent 4 surgeries in 4 months starting August 2024. Tumors are continuing to appear monthly.

I've been unable to work (I'm a Canine Behavior Consultant and Dog Trainer), since May 2024. To top it off, last July we had a hot water pipe break overnight which destroyed our kitchen. We were unable to afford to hire a contractor since I am unable to work and my self-employed husband has been taking me to doctor and hospital appointments that are too numerous to count.

We've had to hit our savings and now our retirement account and it's getting scary. The treatments are going to continue for awhile; one for six months, one for (optimistically) two years, and are debilitating. Getting back to work may not be possible.
