Surgery Schmergery Eviction

I am a single mom, an artist, and a former Adjunct Art Professor. I have been dealing with health issues since April of 2014, and I had an abdominal hysterectomy on Feb. 9th (fibroids and andomentriosis). I was fired from my last job when I told them that I had to have surgery. I needed time and money to recover and I haven't been able to work since early January due to anemia from blood loss. We are now being evicted (April 15th) from our home due to my inability to pay the rent. There is literally nowhere for us to go due to the large debt of unpaid rent to my current landlord (who has been wonderful BTW, please don't blame the landlord), and I also have two kitty babies to think of.

I am currently job hunting and researching ways to live out of my car.

The back rent alone amounts to $6640.00, we were able to pay rent for January and February thankfully or it would be much larger. Then we would need funds for moving into another place.
