Hi everyone…
It kills me to be writing another story for GoFundMe. As awesome as this platform is, I never wanted to have to write one again, especially for my mom.
My mom recently found out her cancer has spread to her brain. She was having headaches and some issues with cognition. Come to find out she has quite a few tumors in her brain. This is stage 4, and a long road. She’s a brave ass woman but it still is beyond words how scary times like this can be for her, and our entire family.
Just today my mom went to meet a friend for breakfast. On her way there she was unable to form coherent words and obviously panicked. She was luckily on the phone with my aunt Kathy and was able to spell out where she was. Her words came back and the confusion dissipated, but it’s scary. At this point she is no longer driving for her safety. She is going to Boston for an MRI and please pray that nothing has already grown or gotten worse.
My dad will be taking a leave of absence to help care for her, and bring her to appointments. I will also be taking time off where I can to help and bring her where she needs to go.
Everyone was so incredibly kind and generous for her last gofund me, and again I never ever anticipated our family in need of another one. But please, donate if you can. She will be getting radiation and a medication where she will not return to work. My dad will be out as well. It’s hard to ask for help, but we know we have to. Medical circumstances don’t care about your wealth or money. It’s expensive to get the best kind of care, and that’s what my mom deserves.
Please continue praying for my mom that she kicks cancers ass once again, and that her pet scan on Saturday is clear. Donate if you can, and if you can’t; prayers, good vibes and positive manifestations are always welcome.
