Melanie's Cancer Treatment

My younger sister, Melanie, was just diagnosed with cancer.  While it looked very dire in the beginning, it seems that there are treatments available that will save her life.  She is currently undergoing the gamut of tests, and has been given a preliminary path forward as far as treatment.  That is the encouraging part.  The downside of this is that the treatment is not available without the funding up front.  She has health insurance but it will not kick in until a $6800.00 deductible is met.

She is a hard worker and has been employed since she was a teenager.  However, as a single mom it has taken all that she makes just to meet financial obligations.  She has no emergency funds from which to draw. 

I firmly believe that God's plan is for us to help each other.  I know I give when I can, and I am hoping that those of you who are able to help will consider doing so.  Prayers and encouragement are also appreciated.  If you are not able to give a financial donation, please consider sharing this need with your friends who may be able to help.
