Melanie-Lee Moloney

My name is Abbey-Lynn and I am fundraising to pay for my Mum's (Melanie-Lee Moloney) funeral.

On 29 May 2024, we unexpectedly lost Melanie. Everyone who knew her was devastated.

Melanie was a loving mother, Daisy (grandmother), sister, partner and much more. She was such a big hearted person, she would help anyone who needed it. Melanie would take the shirt off her back and give it to you, if you needed it.

Melanie was homeless, until the day after she passed when she was meant to move into her new apartment. Unfortunately fate had different plans for her and now she is our guardian angel.

Melanie's wishes were to be buried and I would love to bury her at the Gungahlin cemetery, where she would rest eternally with her beloved father and baby girl Araluen.

The amount for a burial site/ plot at the cemetery costs $10,000. Additionally, I would love nothing more than to celebrate her life in style with a beautiful ceremony at her family church.

Planning a funeral is stressful enough without having to worry about the cost and the cost is not small.

The date of funeral is yet to be determined, will update once the date is confirmed.
