Melanie Thwing-Eastman Memorial Campaign

Tax deductible
Our dear friend, Melanie Arlene Thwing - Eastman passed away Friday, June 5th, 2020, at the age of 31 after a long courageous battle with cancer.

Melanie will always be remembered as a bright, warmhearted, and lively wife/daughter/sister/friend, with a fiery passion for defending the rights of the accused in her professional life and speaking out against injustice in her personal life.  Though her time on earth was short,  the impact she had on the world and those she loved will live on forever.

To honor Melanie's life and passion for helping those affected by social injustice,  her sisters at the Alpha Epsilon Chapter of  Sigma Kappa Sorority have created this site to collect donations for the Midwest Innocence Project in Melanie's
name.

Midwest Innocence Project: The mission of the Midwest Innocence Project (MIP) is to advocate for and obtain the exoneration and release of innocent men and women wrongfully convicted of crimes they did not commit in our five-state area. MIP accepts cases from Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, and Arkansas.
