Help us get Melanie on the road to recovery!

Most of you all know our mother, Melanie Hamann. Most of you don’t know that she has had a pretty rough 2023 year.

In 2018 she had some drooping on one side of her face and some seizure activity. They later found out during that episode that she has a mass at the base of her brain that is inoperable. Fast forward to this year, she has had several changes in mental state, memory, and overall quality of life. We recently found out she has a glioma tumor in the front right side of her brain.

This past Tuesday, Nov 7th, she underwent surgery to remove that tumor so we can do some further testing and get a game plan. This has been a life-changing experience for her life in general. Do to the amount of changes she has encountered, she has not been able to work for the past few months, has had several doctor appointments and is still a year way from retirement.

Her daughters, Jess and Amber, and all of her immediate and extended family are asking for help if you are able, to get her back on her feet and to continue the care she has graciously been given during this time. Anyone that knows her, knows that she is a very private, to herself individual.

Melanie has been one of the hardest working, artsy, fun, up for anything, go-to person there is. The art world has been her sanity and adores her fans and followers. She sees the world in different views and loves to show her personality through her painting.
