This picture was taken just this past Thanksgiving not knowing that this would be our last gathering with Melanie.  Although my sister has lived all her life of 43 years with a heart condition...she was always tough and pulled through it. The sudden passing of my twin sister Melanie on 12/18/20 has been a shock to our family & friends. As of yet, we do not know the cause. Melanie’s only son, Yjanik is 21 years old and his mom was his best friend. If you knew Mel, then you knew her son was everything to her.  Mel’s boyfriend, Eric is heartbroken and also lost his best friend.

Along with arranging Mel’s memorial...we are also hoping to find support for her son as he threads through difficult waters and creating a stable foundation for his new way of looking at life without his mother.
