Everyone, I am starting this for good friends of mine that have been addressed a horrible update in regards to a cancer diagnosis.

*LATEST UPDATE* “ Well, here it is. A few weeks ago I (Mel) had some routine tests. I was thinking about reconstructive so my surgeon sent me for a mammagram and CT scan. I had been feeling great, life was starting to "feel normal" again and everything was falling back into place. Seems that cancer had a different plan for me. My cancer has spread. God, even writting that I still don't believe it. Good news is we caught it early, but never the less it is in fact spreading. So far it is in my bones but I am going for more tests to see if it has spread to any organs. I started a new treatment today that we hope will slow the cancer from spreading and growing. I won't watch my kids become adults but I will be here for the inbetween so for now I just have to be greatful for each and everyday with them. “

My goal is to come together and raise enough money to send there lovely family on a vacation they will never forget where they can laugh together, be together, take pictures together and most importantly try to forget about life’s road blocks  and detours to focus on the now and cherish each minute they spend together as a family. 

Please help in the support of such an amazing Women conquer cancer and give their family some time away from it all to have the opportunity to spend such valuable time with one another.
