My name is lyn, and I am trying to raise funds to help towards my daughters unexpected death on Friday in Dublin. I have tried to get a grant but I am a working pensioner and unable to apply, and the fact that she lived in Dublin also complicates,that matter as we are not EU anymore.

Melanie had an under lying health issue, and had in the past had an addiction problem, but her death was completely unexpected.She was found laying on her sofa watching Netflix,and the TV was still playing. I wasn't prepared for this, and although have got a payment plan for my own funeral,never thought I would need to finance one of my childrens.

Melanie was born in Beckenham when we were stationed in Chelsea with the Coldstream guards way back, and we lived in a hiring in Penge..Her young adult life took abit of a downward slope when her Fiance, Dave, collapsed and died of a massive asthma attack. She moved to London to try and start again, and then moved to Dublin with Jay...and that's,where she chose to live.

Her unexpected death has left me in a position, where I have very limited funds, I tend to earn and spend and live my life. I am not prepared for this at all..

I have spent my life caring and helping others, making things for friends and just being me..

But now it's time for me to ask my friends to give me a little helping hand..

Any help would be a godsend, and would take the pressure of.
