Mel's pacemaker

My husband, Mel Battig is 25 years old. He is a hard worker, supportive husband, and great father. He is the main provider for our two small children. He has had a pacemaker since he was 18 months old. Our family was hoping that his pacemaker would last him until March 2021. Unfortunately when he went to a Drs. appointment recently, he was told that it needed replaced within the next few weeks.  Our medical insurance is only willing to cover part of the surgery, leaving our family to come up with the remaining 8 thousand dollars. I'm asking my family, friends, and community for any donations to help ease this financial burden that was unexpectedly placed on our family.
