PUSH FOR AMY
Donation protected
Thank you for visiting my Go Fund page. I am raising money for My friend, Amy Blake (Strang) who is fighting a rare form of cancer, called Pseudomyxoma peritonei (PMP). It's an extremely rare condition that usually develops from cancers of the appendix.
I played rugby with Amy for the Berwick ladies team for more than 14 years, we are like a family. I am looking to raise money for her chosen charities (Margaret Kerr unit and research into PMP cancer) along with Julie Riley and Lady Meg Tindall.
Julie has been amazing completing so many runs which has been a challenge to her. As a runner, running doesn’t challenge me, so I thought I’d have my hair cut by raising money for Amy’s charities and also donate my hair length to the Children’s Princesses Trust.
The money I raise will go to the charities of Amy’s choice.
Cutting my hair is a challenge for me as it is long and has been for the last 25 years and I do love my long hair !!! On 12th January we will be getting our hair cut !!
My 12 year old daughter Katie will also be donating her hair to the princess trust. I’m so proud of her for doing this with me.
Over the last year Amy has been cared for in the Margaret Kerr unit for palliative care in Melrose and has asked that any money raised, be shared between the Margaret Kerr unit and research into PMP cancer.
Every donation given will be truely grateful !!
Thank you xxx
