Mel Quintanilla's Celebration of Life

My name is Macel, niece to Melvin Quintanilla. On behalf of myself, Aunt Cindy, my Mother Mary, siblings Kaiu and Leidonna, sister in law Amanda, brother in law Brandon, we all want to say thank you for all your prayers, love and support not only following Uncle Mel's passing but leading up to it. After a short month in the hospital and on Tues, Feb 8th, the doctors gave us the most shocking and heart-wrenching news...Uncle Mel had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer after having COVID and pneumonia. He came home on Thurs, Feb 10th, surrounded with prayers and love, and as a team and his Ohana, we took good care of him until God called him home on Valentine's Day: February 14th, 2022. Although we know this is a very painful and unexpected loss of such an angel on earth to so many, we know by the grace of God and by the man Uncle Mel was that he had gone home with our Lord, Jesus Christ. We will join efforts with the Chamorron side of the family to honor Uncle Mel's life in a beautiful way, the way he wished! Please feel free to donate whatever is on your heart. All donations will go towards his Celebration of Life March 9, 10, & 11. March 10th is open to the public from 3pm-9pm, and March 11th the memorial service begins at 10am.
