Funeral & Medical Expenses for The Mackey Family

It’s not often that you meet someone who would give their shirt off their back for you, even if they don’t know you. Mel and Linda are just that type. They’re always the ones helping others, making sure you’re taken care of and that you never leave their house without a full belly.

As most people know by now, Mel left this earth and gained his wings on November 18th. He went into sudden cardiac arrest and no matter how hard Linda and his medical team tried to save him, the most difficult decision had to be made and the Mackey family had to say their final goodbyes.

Given the circumstances and the sudden loss of Mel, it created a huge financial burden on Linda. This is not something anyone budgets for, let alone around the holidays. If you know the Mackey’s, you know they will never ask for anything. Which is why (with Mike’s permission) I am reaching out and asking for them.

If you can spare anything extra this holiday season, I know the Mackey family would truly appreciate it. All funds raised will be sent directly to the Mackey family to cover the medical and funeral expenses for Mel.
