On September 8th 2020, Melvin & Melody Hillier tragically lost their home of 47 years in the Bear/North Complex Fire in Berry Creek, Ca. Married 56 years and both in their late 70's they escaped with only what they could grab with the 45 minute evacuation notice and the clothes on their backs.  They have nothing left.  They dedicated their lives to protecting and teaching the youth of Berry Creek for the last 40+ years and have taken in wayward children their entire lives. Now they need your help! At this time they are safe but desperately looking to purchase a small trailer or motor home to live in to rebuild their lives.
