Mejia Family funeral fundraising

This past November 13th, our son Jesus Mejia died in a horrific car accident, he was just 19 years old. Although the circumstance remain under investigation, the loss of our boy has been devastating for the family.

Jesus was a wonderful young man, who had graduated Tenafly High School this past summer, he was already attending College and had just enrolled in the Marines to serve his country.

He was a loving and caring brother to his two young sisters Gardenia 13yrs and Pamela 9yrs. He was not only a loving tutor and guide for his sisters, but the link for his whole family to the English language. He also worked driving and delivering food to help his family.

His parents migrated under a program from Mexico's violence and their kids were born in New Jersey.

They are loving and caring parents who knew the value of a good education in Tenafly, New Jersey.

The father, Miguel works as a freelancer for a local landscaping company. Unfortunately this tragedy, not only took their son, but their only hope for a better near future.

The family struggles financially and specially during the winter time, as their income from landscaping gets reduced to snow day paydays and odd jobs for Miguel.

We are appealing to the community wishing to help in any form to this beautiful family.

 

The service for Jesus Mejia will take place on Wednesday Nov 17th at A K Macagna Funeral at 495 Anderson Ave, Cliffside Park, New Jersey.
