Mein Traum vom Ironman Hawaii

Hallo, ich bin Christina und habe mich nach zwei knapp gescheiterten Versuchen in Wales 2019 und Frankfurt 2021 nun bei meinem 3. Versuch beim Ironman Thun für die WM auf Hawaii am 14.10.2023 qualifiziert. Nach einem extrem harten Rennen bei über 35 Grad konnte ich als 1. meiner Altersklasse (mit über 30min Vorsprung auf Platz 2) und 5. Frau Gesamt das Ziel erreichen. Dabei lief ich mit 3:21h den 2. schnellsten Marathon aller Frauen und den 44. ALLER Teilnehmer inkl. Männer. Leider sind die Kosten für diese unvergessliche Reise ans andere Ende der Welt mittlerweile so in die Höhe geschnellt, dass mein Traum zu platzen droht bevor er überhaupt begonnen hat. Hello, I'm Christina and after two narrowly failed attempts in Wales 2019 and Frankfurt 2021, I have now qualified at my 3rd attempt at Ironman Thun for the World Championships in Hawaii on 14.10.2023. After an extremely hard race at more than 35 degrees I was able to finish as 1st in my age group (with more than 30min ahead of 2nd place) and 5th woman overall. Thereby I ran with 3:21h the 2nd fastest marathon of all women and the 44th of ALL participants incl. men. 

Unfortunately, the costs for this unforgettable journey to the other end of the world have skyrocketed in the meantime, so that my dream threatens to burst before it has even begun.
