This lil girl was abandoned and sick. She was left at the San Jose Animal Shelter, and not much was known about her. She was called A958299, but when a foster was found for her, they called her Meiko.

As best we can tell, she is part Shiba, and part cuddle bug. She could not hear, and when the vets at the Shelter gave her to us after the surgery, they told us she may have cancer.

The results came back, and no cancer, however- we just found out that her ears are so infected, that is the reason she is deaf. She needs an operation to fix that, and the exploration of a lump on her throat to make sure it is non-cancerous just like the others.

BAMSR is raising this money to treat her, and just as we did with other dogs, we are doing so with full accounting of how the money will be spent, and so we can help the foster  care for this loving lady!
