Mehul Vashi Memorial Fund

Donation protected
Friends and family are organizing this fundraiser for the family of Mehul Vashi.

We tragically lost Mehul Vashi when he was brutally murdered on Sunday, January 3, 2021 while Mehul was at work. Mehul worked as a Hotel Manager in the USA, after working as a sales manager and a teacher in India.

Mehul was known for his love of family and friends, food, travel, and sleep. He was a man of happy-go-lucky nature, and as someone who would never hesitate to step in and help whoever was in need. He will be dearly missed by every single life he touched throughout his lifetime.

This fundraiser is being set up to financially aid Mehul’s survivors in this tragic time. Mehul is survived by his wife Hetal, and their two daughters Aarohi and Birva. Hetal and Mehul came to the USA 8 years ago with the American Dream in their mind so they could give their daughters a great education and a bright future. Together they have raised very responsible daughters who wish to pay it forward as socially conscious professionals in the future. Upon her husband’s tragic death, Hetal has been left with the burden of financial responsibility of the entire family, with both of her daughters going through their own paths of education now and in the future.

Hetal works as a Drapery Sewing Technician at a local fabrics’ factory. Additionally, she works as a beautician in her spare time. Among family, friends, and coworkers, she is known for her helpful nature and tremendous work ethic whether it be as a homemaker or at work.

Hetal and Mehul’s elder daughter Aarohi, 25, is in 2nd year of medical school. She aspires to be an Emergency Medicine Doctor. Aside from being an ER Physician, she also aspires to work in Global Health as a health policy maker. Their younger daughter Birva, 16, is in her junior year of high school where she excels academically. Having inherited the rest of the family’s work ethic, she is getting ready to apply for part time jobs as well as looking forward to applying to colleges where she can further her education.

We are in deep gratitude for the love and support so many are showing and are thankful beyond words.
