Mankato East High School Wall of Distinction

Throughout the history of Mankato East High School, numerous individuals have made a significant and lasting impact on advancing the recognition of Mankato's educational community. Individuals who have made a difference, who have been successful, who have given unselfishly to make the world a better place deserve to be nominated for induction into the Mankato East High School Wall of Distinction.
The Wall of Distinction is not funded by the school/school district but rather through private donations and other fundraising activities. All donations go directly toward paying for establishing and thereafter maintaining the Wall of Distinction. Contributions are automatically transferred daily to the Wall of Distinction account at Minnesota Valley Federal Credit Union .
Purpose:
• To recognize the achievements and accomplishments of East High School graduates.
• To provide role models for current and future students.
• To demonstrate/validate incentives to current and future students what is possible for graduates of Mankato East High School.
GoFundMe collects 2.9% + $0.30 for each donation, about what it costs to process the credit card payments. They also prompt you for a "tip" with your donation, but you can change this to $0 if you like. If you'd rather contribute directly, contact MVFCU (reference the Wall of Distinction account) or the MEHS office for more information.
