Mrs Donahue was suddenly stricken with an advanced form of pneumonia which caused bleeding in her lungs and a diminished lung capacity. Because her lungs began to fail, and her heart rate fell drastically, she was put on a ventilator and sedated.
She was life flighted to, and remains in the care of, the Medical Intensive Care Unit at The James Cancer and Research Hospital at the Ohio State University. She has made slow progress and continues to heal, but it will be a long road to (hopefully) a full recovery. Tom, Jason and Nikki have been at her side and will continue to stay with her in Columbus, OH as they are able.
Many friends and family members have reached out to ask how they could help or donate to help Mrs Donahue and her children cover the costs of her care and their travel; therefore, we have created this account for them.
They want to express their sincere gratitude for your prayers, thoughts, and the generosity shown to their family, and they ask that you please continue to keep Mrs Donahue in your thoughts and prayers.
