Here's Megan's story. She's a 16 year old girl who was involved in an auto accident on Monday, August 29th. She is currently at St. Louis university hospital with broken hips, fractured pelvis, liver, kidney and spleen damage, broken ribs and fractures in thoracic and lumbar spine. She has a long recovery in front of her. But she has an awesome support system!! Her mom,
Amy Gibbs-Merritt and her dad Todd Gibbs along with step dad Clayton Merritt and Todds girlfriend Amy, siblings, grandparents and aunts and uncles have been at the hospital.
Insurance will cover portions but there will be copays and deductibles to meet. There will be constant trips to St. Louis from Waterloo and Belleville for family. And as parent, you never want to leave your child's side. Funds from this account will make sure Megan's support system can be there when she needs them and help with the medical bills.
Megan's family are the most caring individuals you will ever meet. The outpouring of prayers have touched them and we all believe someone is listening!
