Hello Friends and Family!
As many of you know I currently live in Hayward, CA and am attending graduate school to follow my dream of becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic! I'm currently in quarter 7 out of 14, and boy has it been a journey so far.
I started the program in January 2018 and quickly dove in to studying the philosophy, science and art of chiropractic. My first 3 quarters I was getting up to be at school by 6 am to train with fellow dedicated students. Although I'm not getting to campus at 6 am anymore, I am spending as much time possible studying chiropractic wether that be in class, at home or attending weekend seminars - such as Network Spinal, Animal Chiropractic, and BGI.
Chiropractic lights my soul on fire! It has allowed me to connect deeply with other humans and I believe has the chance to change the world. Our bodies innately want to heal and chiropractic allows them to do that. Chiropractors help the body to reconnect to areas that may have been disconnected or have had some miscommunication through a specific chiropractic adjustment. When our bodies are connected to all of its parts, we operate more efficiently which then allows us to live a more full life. Imagine a world where all of the people feel more free to be in their bodies and express their true self!
I started this program with the most amazing females. Before coming to school, I didn't really understand the beauty of the work females can do when they get together. But these girls are definitely showing me the way - watch out world, we're coming to shake things up.
I have been selected to join a group of female students to go on a Chiropractic Service Trip in Costa Rica this coming December! This group is going to be lead by two amazing female chiropractors - Dr. Monique Andrews and Dr. Tamara MacIntyre. These two women have already made a huge impact on my education. I'm ecstatic to have the opportunity to study with them some more!
Our trip to Costa Rica will include two full days of service to the Playa Grande community, chiropractic workshops, neuroscience workshops, yoga, meditation and self exploration!
I imagine that through serving the people of this community, I will allow them to be more free and experience more of the magic life has to offer. I believe that helping one person will help a family, which can help the community, which can create a shift in the world.
Now, to help make this vision possible I need some help! $2,500 will help me to cover the cost of my housing, food, and workshops for 7 days ($1500) and the flight ($800-$900). Anything extra raised will help with other tr avel expenses. This is my soul's calling and would be forever grateful for your support! Help me help others to be more free.
