Megan's Summer Research Funding

Hi everyone!  My name is Megan Levine, and I am studying Coastal & Environmental Science at Louisiana State University.  As you can probably guess, I am very passionate about the environment and all its inhabitants.  Something else I am very passionate about is the country of South Africa.  I am very lucky to have opportunity to be able to combine these two very special things and participate in a program in Gansbaai, South Africa, aiding with shark conservation and ecotourism through SharkWatch and the Natal Sharks Board.  This is an incredible opportunity that would positively impact the rest of my life.  By participating in the volunteer opportunity, I will be able to expore potential future career paths, while networking along the way with people that can help turn my dreams into a reality.  Although accomodations are covered, costs of the program and transportation (especially international plane tickets) are very expensive.  Any money donated towards my cause would go towards traveling  and expenses associated with the program, making this trip possible.  So if you feel compelled to donate (any amount is appreciated), thank you so much!
