Megan has been fighting with depression and anxiety for most of her life.  She had shared a very public battle with her alcoholism, and had successfully made it two years - because beginning to notice a change in her psyche. Seeking treatment for a month, and being put in mental wards, for weeks, 7 medications and continuing to be turned away is impossible for her to get the help she desperately needs in this state. And has proven to do more damage.

Her smile that will light up any room, and a personality that is just contagious and a love and passion for her daughter Tenley, that is very evident (a huge struggle was her to be so far to get help). 

Megan is currently  with extended family, under observation at the hospital.  She has had a series of relapses with the toughest being in bulimia, fighting with it for the past 15+ years.  She is currently deliberating her options and stressing on how to afford treatment.  The treatment center is requesting $30,000 upfront before allowance of acceptance of treatment.    She has discussed with her insurance company and they refuse to assist with any of the bill.

Megan dearly wants to return to her 9 year old daughter, her snuggly pup, and her friends and family, healthy and happy. We all want her to return to us safely, and continue our lives with her shining light in it.

Advances in medicine and therapy have proven that eating disorders and addictions are VERY treatable. Please note also that in this specific health issue - Iowa ranks 49th for help.

The downfall is costs associated with it.  Meds, therapy, and continued treatment cost more than a single person can handle, Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
