Meg’s Mission Trip to Kenya

Hi there! I am excited to share with you an opportunity that God has given me! I will be serving on a missions trip to KENYA, AFRICA from Aug 29-Sept 8, 2024.

This was not just any trip myself could have stumbled upon. This trip was 10+ years of prayer. Scripture says “By prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be known to God” (Phil 4:6-7). I have prayed since I was 12 that God would open doors for this trip! Ever since I could remember I dreamt of being a teacher. God gave me a gift/passion for teaching kids. What a testimony that is in itself…

It was a lot of walking by faith and not by sight. If it was up to me, I would have picked any trip years ago, but He knew I wasn’t ready. It was never “if” God would do it but “when!” He knew I needed to grow in my personal walk with Him in order to do His work. Jesus says “For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans for a hope and a future” (Jer 29:11). I didn’t know it then but I know it now that Christ was preparing me for this trip all along!

This trip cost is far beyond my financial means. It covers everything from travel, food, and place to stay during the time. I would be blessed if you would consider supporting me prayerfully, sharing and/or financially in any way!

About the trip:

Most of our ministry will be at our Freedom Hope Centers located at our Nairobi Campus as well as the Amani Children’s Home.

At our Nairobi Campus we will be serving in Kids Ministry at our Hope Center, helping with some building projects as well as times for prayer, leadership training and mentoring.

We will also serve at the Amani Children’s Home. Amani is home to over 200 kids and many of these precious kids are rescued children from abuse, neglect or have been orphaned or abandoned.
