Meg's Abdominal Laparoscopic Surgery
I'm Meg, a 24-year-old autistic adult from Oklahoma who has suffered from severe abdominal pains since 2020. I only started getting real answers this year after many trips to several doctors. Finally, this summer, two large cysts were found on my ovaries via ultrasound; one measuring 5 cm in diameter, the other 10 cm. These cysts have been the root cause of severe anxiety attacks, IBS flare-ups, bladder pain, crippling pelvic pain, body aches, brain fog, and so much more.
I've received little to no help from my own parent. If anything, she has caused me to prolong my suffering by manipulating me into not seeing a doctor for my symptoms. She claimed it was only PMS and that I'm overreacting. Because of this situation, I'm scheduling surgery behind her back.
My surgery is scheduled for October 14th. I'm EXTREMELY grateful that this journey is finally leading to my recovery and a better quality of life. I've done so much fighting to get to this point. However, I'm a very broke artist / part-time substitute teacher who could use some financial help to cover the expenses of this surgery!
All donations and shares are appreciated! Funds will go directly to my surgery costs. Anything remaining will go towards necessities for my cat and me.
Thank you all so much for reading! Shoutout to my creatures (TM) on Instagram, my friends, and my sister for supporting me all this time. You all are incredible.
