Meghan's Place - Westville

Serving as Municipal Councillor allowed Meghan to exhibit her passion for the Town and its people and to be a clear, strong, and unwavering voice for equity, active living, and greater accessibility for persons with disabilities. Meghan asked that any donations made in her memory go towards the Town of Westville’s efforts to create recreation space that is inclusive and accessible for all. To accommodate those out of Town it was suggested we create this page. “A society grows great when people plant trees in whose shade they shall never sit.”

She thought it would be lovely when we asked her if we could use her name and name the playground and splash pad area of Acadia Park - Meghan's Place.
