Meghan's Gift: Supporting Kendall's Recovery

Hello, my name is Kendall Holloway. Nearly two years ago I gave birth to my first child. A perfect baby boy, happy and healthy. Following the birth of my son I suffered a very severe hemorrhage and almost didn’t survive. The hemorrhage resulted in 13 blood transfusions in total and the unfortunate damage to my kidneys alongside a handful of other less severe injuries. I have been on dialysis for almost two years now, all while taking care of my son and returning to work full time. My sister, Meghan Bentley, has selflessly made the decision to donate one of her kidneys to me. She is a perfect match to me, meaning this is the best case for me moving forward with the longevity of the kidney and the amount of life long medications I will need to take.

This journey has been incredibly hard for not only me but my whole family. We have suffered mentally and financially through this process. I am creating this gofundme to help supplement the loss for my sister as she will be out of work for 6 weeks following the surgery, as well as for myself, I will be out of work for 12 weeks. Also, to help with any medical costs associated.
