Meghan’s Cancer Fight Fund

Meghan was recently diagnosed with stage 2, Hodgkins Lymphoma. Donation will go towards medical and household bills. Any amount is appreciated and helpful!

For those of you that may not know Meghan or aren’t caught up on her story:

Amidst the pandemic Meghan was furloughed from her job at Petco after signing on her first home. Upon returning to work two months later she found out that they would be getting rid of her position which meant stepping down with a pay cut or finding another job. Meghans fiancé, Aaron, also held that same position within the company. This meant that while planning a wedding, taking on the purchase of their new house, and all the responsibilities of life, they were both left seeking new employment opportunities. Meghan was finally offered a wonderful job within a hospital so things were starting to look up! The next week is when she went to a doctors appointment and happened to mention the lump on her neck that she had been told was nothing  serious and sent home with antibiotic several times prior by other physicians. What was expected to be a simple visit turned her world upside-side.

Her treatment plan will start with 1 round of chemotherapy (4 months) and then reevaluate after that time. Due to the fact that chemo will cause her to be immunocompromised her oncologist said that she needs to be smart and stay at home except for treatment outings. This means no source of income for at least, 5-6 months.

Meghan is one of kindest and most hard working individuals I know. Cancer doesn’t stand a chance against her. I ask that her friends, family, former coworkers, and anyone else who is able, please, donate to her fund.
