Hi, my name is Kathryn, and my 19-year-old daughter Meghan was attacked recently. During this attack, she received traumatic injuries to both her eyes leaving her blind. This tragic event occurred on February 5th, 2023 in Crossville TN.

Meghan, a lifelong Staten Islander, recently graduated high school. She played lacrosse while attending both Moore Catholic High School and Curtis High School and planned to start college in the fall.

Unfortunately, after seeing several eye specialists, she will not regain sight in either eye. Our family is extremely grateful for the generosity and compassion we have received from all the doctors, our friends and family. My daughter has a new and different journey to embark on with many adjustments. Thank you for all of the prayers, well wishes, and words of kindness.
