International Nursing Service Trip!
Donation protected
Dislcaimer: I will be the first to admit that making a GoFundMe account is awkward, so if you're feeling awkward reading this please know you are in good company.
Nonetheless... I am very excited to announce that I was accepted, as a senior nursing student, to go on one of Chamberlain's international nursing service trips. In September, I will be located in Brazil! I truthfully couldn't be more excited to learn more about the world and be able to give back. We will spend some of the time in a rural area and some of the time in the suburbs. In both places we will be practicing and furthering our nursing skills, educating the community, and enhancing our love for helping others.
I confidently decided to set up an account because after having many conversations with friends and family, I've learned that donating is another form of serving others. I wanted to provide an avenue for people to donate to medical missions. It may be a short-term mission, but it is just as important! No donation (money, prayer, thoughts, encouragement, etc.) is too small. The amount I am trying to raise will cover medical supplies for the trip, food and housing, interpreters and travel insurance! The other half I am working to pay myself which covers immunizations, travel fees and any extra things I choose to do!
Thank you in advance for serving with me! I will provide more information as time goes on.

P.S. Attached are some links: One is a link to Chamberlain's blog so that you may look more into the history of Chamberlain's work in Brazil if you so choose! The others are links to my classmates (and really close friends) GoFundMe accounts. I am lucky enough to get to serve the world alongside great company, so feel free to spread the love (the love being money or prayers/thoughts for her as well)
