Megan's medical bills and time off from work

Hi, my name is Abby and I have created this fundraiser to help my partner Megan recover from a necessary and extensive surgery scheduled for the 15th of November.

For some time now Megan has been combating some extreme physical symptoms that have resulted in frequent Dr. appointments, trips to the ER, and time off work to recover. It's been a really difficult time emotionally for our family as it is never easy to watch the one you love suffer, so I'm thankful for the prospect of relief that could come from this upcoming surgery.

The purpose of this fundraiser is to assist Megan in being able to take the necessary time off work and focus on healing without the added stress of worrying about how their bills will be paid. There is already a considerable amount of debt owed to doctors and hospitals and Megan is looking at a substantial amount more. That being the case, there has already been talk of going back to work prematurely in order to reduce that financial burden somewhat, which, in my mind, is totally out of the question.

Those of you that know Megan personally know how kind, loyal, loving and deserving of being able to take the nessesary time to heal. I hope we can all come together to make that happen. It would mean the world to me and make a world of difference to them.
