In Loving Memory of Megan Durand
Donation protected
On January 24, 2016, our beloved Megan Lynn Durand left us unexpectedly. Megan was a sophomore at High Point University, loved by everybody she met. She will always be remembered for her spirit, spunk, smile, and gift of comforting and counseling everyone she met.
We know that many family, friends, and people in our community have been asking how they can help keep Megan's spirit alive. In her memory, the Durand family is establishing The Durand Fund. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributing in Megan's memory. Donations will be split between two organizations that held a special place in Megan's heart:
1. High Point University - the community that Megan grew to love as a second home over the last year and a half.
2. National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) - the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. The Durand family has had direct experience with this wonderful organization.
Please continue to send your thoughts and prayers for Megan and her family. Thank you from the entire Durand Family & God Bless.
