Such a financial strain on top of the day-to-day struggles of the disease is more than any family should have to bear. If you’ve ever wondered how you can make a real difference in another person’s life, this is your opportunity.
Although physically transformed, Meg is fully engaged and still the kind, caring, generous, and fun spirit she has ever been. Always thinking of others, she hosted an event last spring that raised more than $40,000 for ALS research. She has been so grateful for the contributions made to that cause and for the emotional support she has received from her family and friends – she just didn’t expect she would have to seek financial help for herself. But she needs it for the medical care that will enable her to keep being a wife, a mother, a sister, an aunt, and a friend.
Meg reads this prayer every morning from Saint Theresa:
May today there be peace within. May you trust that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith. May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you.
Meg still has so much love to pass on. Thank you for gifting what you can to give her more time.
